Gartner Magic Quadrant evaluates 4 major MDM use cases

The report evaluates each vendor on capabilities in the four major MDM implementation use cases for product data solutions: registry, consolidation, coexistence and centralized. Gartner also analyzed the prevalence of capabilities that provide a quality user experience, a strong focus for EnterWorks Master Data Management solutions.

Gartner affirms importance of centralized product content

Gartner’s analysis affirms the increasing importance of centralized product content systems within the manufacturing and retail industries, given the digitization of commerce today.

In the report, Gartner Vice President and Distinguished Analyst Andrew White, Research Vice President Bill O’Kane, and Research Directors Terilyn Palanca and Michael Patrick Moran observed, “With the increasing focus on digitalization of enterprises, management of their key master data is also becoming more important. The ability to achieve and maintain a single, semantically consistent version of product master data is crucial for customer-centric organizations.”

Kumar Jandayala joined EnterWorks in May 2015 as Vice President of Solutions and Partner Management. Jandayala came to EnterWorks after serving as Director, Global Solution Management and Architecture with hybris and SAP’s Customer Engagement and Commerce group, where he was focused on MDM for Commerce and Digital Marketing, Customer Data Management, and solution architecture for Customer Experience and Commerce. Jandayala brings to EnterWorks broad experience in data and commerce platforms, product and solution management, and enterprise architecture from his leadership roles at Equifax, hybris/SAP and American Retail Group. Mr. Jandayala has a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Barathidasan University, India.
