The 2016 NRF Show served as a pivotal event for EnterWorks. We had the pleasure of sharing our leading Master Data Management (MDM) and Product Information Management (PIM) solutions with retailers, brand manufacturers, partners, analysts, and the media.
NRF’s 105th Annual Convention & EXPO took place January 17 – 19 in New York City, where over 33,500 attendees converged to identify new ways to enhance the customer experience and advance their retail business.
This year’s EXPO was packed with impressive devices, from holograms and facial recognition to magic mirrors and interactive displays. A recurring theme was around optimizing technology to lift sales. With the wide array of new technologies to test, the message was clear: when it comes to the customer experience, no retailer can afford to become stagnant. Experimentation and innovation are essential.
But with so many emerging customer touchpoints, the complexity of content management continues to rise. This hot button issue is moving to the forefront for retailers. That’s why we chose NRF to launch the NEW EnterWorks.
The EnterWorks booth attracted impressive retail and consumer goods companies. We demonstrated how our PIM and MDM solutions are helping retailers orchestrate product content collaboration within the business while exchanging consistent, accurate product information with suppliers, customers, partners, and marketplaces.
EnterWorks took part in several off-location NRF events including a Forrester keynote dinner co-hosted with Bridge Solutions Group that discussed the 2016 omnichannel and digital store predications. We also hosted a dinner with the Retail Analytics Council and sponsored the prestigious Retail Insiders Party, which was attended by over 300 senior executives.

NRF Big Ideas Session on Driving the Content Value Chain
EnterWorks CEO Rick Chavie led a Big Ideas session with David Meany, VP of e-commerce at Orgill, and Ken Bonning, Partner at Orion Advisors Group and the former senior EVP at Kohl’s. The panel shared lessons from the retail front lines on mastering the shift from physical to digital commerce throughout the content lifecycle.
Sharing our Story with Media and Analysts
Additionally, we announced that EnterWorks was featured in Gartner’s recent report, Critical Capabilities for Master Data Management of Product Data Solutions. Download the report here.
We held interviews with analysts from Gartner, Forrester and Digital Clarity Group, and spoke with members of the media about how retailers can utilize PIM and MDM solutions to orchestrate a common platform for all product information, internally and externally, for a single view of content.
RIS News Editorial Director Joe Skorupa sat down with Rick Chavie to discuss EnterWorks’ role in harmonizing content across and within the retail enterprise.
Chavie noted, “One of the ways people have thought about MDM and PIM has been very much a supply chain focus…but the world has changed, and it’s much more dynamic. The challenge now is to make it a much more rich experience bringing all assets together in a demand chain focus, or content value chain.” See the full interview here.
