Digital Foodie and EnterWorks are heading to Chicago this week to showcase their end-to-end omni-commerce solution for the grocery and food industry at FMI Connect 2016, Booth 858. The cloud platform with master data management (MDM) and product information management (PIM) capabilities has emerged as the first offering focused on all aspects of the grocery supply chain.
From the FMI Expo to education sessions and networking opportunities, FMI Connect serves as the year’s premier food retail event. EnterWorks and Digital Foodie will present for the first time together at the show.
EnterWorks CEO Rick Chavie will join Kalle Koutajoki, CEO of Digital Foodie, to meet with Expo attendees. Digital Foodie is also a Gold Sponsor of FMI Pulse, an interactive portion of the conference focused on the profitability of omni-channel retailers and suppliers.
Combined with EnterWorks’ PIM and MDM features, the Digital Foodie solution powers on-demand ordering, personalized shopping planning, digital commerce, order management and efficient fulfillment for enterprise and small grocers. The platform can also support restaurants aiming to offer food-on-demand services.
EnterWorks’ investment in Digital Foodie was announced in April of this year, noting the natural fit between EnterWorks’ strength in MDM and PIM solutions, and Digital Foodie’s desire to accelerate the penetration of its on-demand, omni-commerce solution in new food and grocery markets. The strategy connects the sophisticated, but typically back-end content with the more consumer-focused elements of shopper engagement to create a seamless solution for both retailer and shopper.
