The CGT Readers’ Choice 2017 Editor’s Pick

May I have the envelope please? The CGT Readers’ Choice 2017 Survey results are in. EnterWorks was chosen as a 2017 Editors’ Pick for its impact on the technology innovations of consumer goods organizations. The honor highlights EnterWorks’ expertise in Product Information Management (PIM) and Master Data Management (MDM) solutions.

The CGT Readers’ Choice Survey is published annually by Consumer Goods Technology Magazine. This is the 17th edition, in fact. It’s a crowd favorite among consumer packaged goods (CPG) companies, as they use the results to guide investments in future business and IT solutions.

To quote Ali Orr of CGT, “In these modern times, you can’t run a successful, competitive consumer goods business without forging a solid foundation in technology. And you can’t build that foundation without enlisting help from reliable technology and service partners.”

CGT Readers’ Choice Survey: Editors’ Pick

The 2017 Editors’ Pick is an opportunity for the CGT editorial staff to recognize the 14 technology solution and service providers that are making a substantial impact on the industry.

CGT recognized EnterWorks for its ability to enable companies to acquire, manage and transform product information into persuasive content. This empowered content then drives sales, increased collaboration, and new competitive strengths. The editors also commended EnterWorks’ high ranking in “The Forrester Wave: Product Information Management Solutions”, earning praise for providing customers with strong reporting capabilities and cloud-architecture flexibility.

The Editors’ Pick recognition is a great testament to our efforts to provide CPG’s with the tools they need to master channel complexity, giving their customers an overall superior customer service. It’s always an honor to receive recognition for our work. However, CGT’s Readers’ Choice comes with the affirmation that CPG executives receive true value from our services.

Why CPG Companies Rely on EnterWorks PIM and MDM Solutions

EnterWorks has made a strong connection with the CPG industry. Why? Because we understand the unique challenges CPG companies face. For example, communicating product content to customers and complying with regulations regarding sourcing, ingredients, labeling and packaging. We know that managing product content and publishing it across multiple channels is increasingly necessary for success.

The CPG industry is undergoing unprecedented change, and with it, evolution of business models. In fact, recently I spoke to CGT Magazine more specifically about the transition in CPG to a Business-to-Business-to-Consumer (B2B2C) model.

Manufacturers and brands are adjusting to a deeper level of interaction with consumers, and face new demands in regards to product content from both retailers and directly from the consumer. They are increasingly pressured to better collaborate with retailers in regards to product knowledge and content, from production to promotion. Next Steps

To conclude, 2016 was a great year for us. EnterWorks has added multiple packaged goods clients and made innovative advances to our MDM and PIM platforms. We also expanded the CPG experience of our talented team, and ranked highly in Forrester’s PIM Wave.

Rick Chavie was appointed CEO of EnterWorks in May 2015. He came to EnterWorks after serving as SVP, Global Solution Management with hybris and SAP’s Customer Engagement and Commerce group, where he brought together digital and physical commerce and CRM assets for seamless customer experiences. Mr. Chavie brings industry experience from his leadership roles at retailers such as The Home Depot and C&A. He brings technology experience from his role as the global marketing leader for NCR’s retail and hospitality business, and management consulting expertise from his partner roles at Deloitte and Accenture, where he served clients across retail, branded consumer and wholesale verticals. Chavie is a Harvard MBA, a Fulbright Scholar in International Trade, and a summa cum laude graduate from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. He is a noted speaker at industry events, an author on the wholesale industry, and frequently comments on commerce, marketing and customer engagement topics.
