MDM & Data Governance Summit - November 8-10, 2016

EnterWorks is headed to New York this week for the 2016 MDM & Data Governance Summit. Our team joins over 400 data management leaders for the world’s premier conference dedicated to Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance.

MDM & Data Governance Summit Celebrates 11th Year

Now in its 11th year, the MDM & Data Governance Summit is at the forefront of IT industry events. Attendees will converge in NYC during November 8-10 for a powerful agenda. The conference includes industry analyst trend perspectives, a wide array of use cases, market-leading product-specific sessions, and best practice panel discussions.

Overall, the summit offers the latest insights for the MDM, data governance and product information management (PIM) space. Attendees can also network and learn from the world’s leading MDM/PIM solution and service providers.

EnterWorks Leads Expert Panel Session on MDM Best Practices

On Tuesday, I will lead an Experts Panel Session titled Best Practices in MDM for Product Master. The session will dive into how enterprises overcome complexities as they seek a “single view” of product data.

What starts out as an organization’s master product data soon becomes a complex PIM program spanning other domains and use cases. Including, for example, enterprise architecture, analytical MDM, and new product introduction (NPI) or product lifecycle management (PLM). Additionally, many organizations continue to struggle with how MDM of product data relates to ERP, CRM, data warehouse, and other master data initiatives. Therefore, the end result is that MDM of product data quickly becomes more complex and challenging, even for type “A” IT organizations.

Our session will feature a panel of experts who have already navigated the MDM journey. We will share our experience in:

  • Rationalizing between PIM-flavored MDM or MDM-flavored PIM
  • Preparing for web-specific content, digital assets & records management as MDM converges across governance of product, customer & location data
  • Evolving from MDM of product data to multi-domain MDM alongside the ongoing socialization of PIM

Also on Tuesday, Edwin Ludwig from Truck-Lite – an EnterWorks Enable™ user – will present in the “Master Data Management: PIM & RDM” track with a session titled Cloud PIM – Why Not.

If you’re headed to the conference, please stop by and see us!
